Short stories

I’ll be putting up two short stories soon, one that is completed but needs a cover, and one that is not quite completed yet.

The finished story is called “Sacred Hospitality”, and takes place during an unspecified time. It is about the Celtic definition of hospitality, and how one woman fulfills it, even though she doesn’t really want to.  It also introduces a Celtic battle ritual, the taking of your opponent’s head. If this type of thing is too gruesome, avoid it.

The second story doesn’t even have a title (but seriously, I’ll be done with it soon), and was originally conceived as a prologue to Cricket’s Song.  It tells about how Declan macConn became Harper. I didn’t ever finish it because I didn’t want it to be too much about Harper.

Both stories will be published on Amazon this month.  Now, does anyone know where I can find a tasteful illustration of decapitated heads?
